• Use a towel to dry off the blades. Do not drag your razor across the towel, but dab or blot your razor on the towel.
• You can also use a blow dryer for 10 to 15 seconds to make sure that there is no water on the blades. Do not overdue it as the heat can warp the blades if they get too hot. If your hair dryer has a cool shot button, you can use it to blow off any water without worrying about warping the blade.

Storing your Razor
• If you want to store your razor in the bathroom, it is wise to place it in an airtight plastic bag. This will keep the moisture from showering off the blades and will help prevent oxidation.
• The best option is to store your razor outside of the bathroom.
• One of the worst places to store your blade is close to the shower. This is the source of a lot of steam and splashing and will accelerate the dulling of your blades.

Rubbing Alcohol
• Placing a few drops or dipping your blade in a cup of rubbing alcohol can help remove moisture from your blades.
• The alcohol will dry quickly and will help keep the blade dry.
• An added benefit to this method is that the alcohol will kill any bacteria that is on your blades and can help prevent razor burn and ingrown hairs.

Tips to Keep A Disposable Razor Sharp
As long as the razor blade is sharp, you do not need to dispose off your disposable razor. Follow these easy steps to keep your razor sharp so you can use it more than a few times.

1. Prepare the materials needed
In order to save your time and energy, remember to prepare all the materials you need in doing the procedure. The materials you will have to prepare include an old pair of jeans and the dull razor blade. Make sure that the razor blade is not too old as it may break easily.

2. Stretch the jeans
You will only need one side or one leg of the jeans for the procedure. Stretch it out evenly so you can easily do the procedure. You can stretch it out on a table or on the floor, depending on what comforts you the most.

3. Stroke one side of disposable razor
After stretching the jeans out, take the dull disposable razor. Hold the handle properly and stroke the material on the entire length of the jeans. Do not apply too much pressure to prevent the blade from breaking. Just use normal pressure. Stroke the disposable razor away from you and in one direction only. Do the step at least ten times but if you want it to be sharper, do it for 20 times.

4. Stroke the other side of disposable razor
It order to make it even, you must also sharpen the other side of the disposable razor using the jeans. Sharpen the other side of the blade by stroking it from the far end of the jeans towards you. Make sure that you stroke throughout the entire length of the jeans. Be careful in sharpening the other side of the razor to prevent injury since the direction of the stroking is towards you. Perform this step ten to 20 times as well.

5. Remember the following tips
Doing the procedure can surely make your disposable razor blade sharper again. However, in order to prolong its life even more, you must remember the following tips:

• Always dry your razor after use. The oxidation of the metal compound used in the material is the reason why it becomes dull and oxidation happens if the razor blade is not kept dry. You can use a blow dryer to make sure that the blade is kept dry.
• Place your dry razor blade in a plastic then place the plastic on a freezer. Make sure that there is minimal air in the plastic.

How to Clean a Disposable Razor
1.  Place the razor under running water a few times while you are shaving. You want to shave two lines and then set the razor under the running water. This will remove the hair and shaving cream from the razor so the next area can be shaved properly. Make sure you flip the razor over to allow the running water to clean both sides of the razor.

2. Give the disposable razor a final rinse under the running water. Do this when you have finished shaving for the day.

3. Pour some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and give the blades a good wipe down. Don't forget to do both sides of the razor. This will clean your disposable razor and get it ready for the next time you need it.

4. Pat your disposable razor dry with a paper towel. Slide the protective cover that came with it back on the razor.
